Discover the Story of Luana Coelho
Luana Coelho’s journey was marked by battles with anxiety, depression, and a relentless quest to fill the void in her soul.
Before finding her way to The Universal Church, Luana’s life revolved around parties, addictions, and a pursuit of happiness in worldly pleasures.
“I dyed my hair constantly, wore heavy makeup, and tried everything to feel complete, but nothing worked,” she shared.
Even after overcoming her addictions and giving up partying, Luana continued to face debilitating anxiety and panic attacks.
“There was one day during a crisis when those around me said, ‘She’s going to die here.’ And at that moment, I thought that maybe dying was the only solution,” she said, having tried several treatments with medication and therapies, but the emptiness remained.*
Realizing that something was still missing despite breaking free from addictions, Luana decided to fully commit to the Fast of Daniel for the Holy Spirit.
During those 21 days, she focused entirely on deepening her relationship with God and made the life-changing decision to be baptized. The defining moment came during a trip when Luana chose to stay connected to her faith despite distractions.
“While others listened to music, I silently praised God. And it was there, in the middle of the trip, that the Holy Spirit came upon me in a profound way. In that moment, all the weight of my past was lifted,” she said.
From December 11th to the 31st, The Universal Church will hold the Fast of Daniel: 21 Days to Hear the Voice of God. The closing date coincides with the New Year’s Eve Vigil for the Family.
