Discover the Secret That Turned Total Loss Into Total Victory—and How to Apply It Today
Imagine returning from a war expecting rest, only to receive terrible news. David experienced this. He and his soldiers returned from battle to find that Ziklag, their city, was in ruins and their families taken captive. David’s warriors wanted to stone him, blaming him for the situation. But David did something decisive: he sought God before taking action (see 1 Samuel 30).
We all face unexpected losses—whether financial, familial, or emotional. What defines the outcome is not the amount of pain but the source of your reaction. David didn’t blame anyone for what happened. He didn’t act impulsively. Instead, he drew strength from God and sought His guidance.
“Don’t do as David’s men did—don’t blame others for your problems. Not every struggle results from personal mistakes; sometimes, they arise because God allows them to help you learn and mature. Regardless of the difficulty: be it envy, disappointment, threats, or slander—seek the Almighty, for He takes care of everything,” advised Bishop Jadson during the Prosperity With God meeting at the Temple of Solomon.
David went out with all his men and left the city unprotected, which allowed the attack to occur. Learn this lesson: “The devil enters when there are gaps. Work and fight, but leave certain problems outside the bedroom to avoid affecting your marriage. Maintain balance: tend to work and conflict, but prioritize your family,” he explained.
David did not act out of hatred or revenge. Before making any decision, he consulted God. That is the secret: seek, listen, and obey. Intelligent faith is characterized by discernment before action. The person who believes experiences the unmistakable guidance of the Father.
“Learn not to act rashly, based on feelings or your strength. Walk with God, as He will protect you and will not allow harm to come your way. On his journey, David encountered a weakened enemy. Rather than ignoring him, he offered help, and it was this person who ultimately guided him to those responsible for the tragedy,” Bishop Jadson shared.
The story began sadly and harshly but concluded with joy and triumphant victory. You may be going through a difficult and complicated time, but if you believe and obey, everything will turn out well. The Lord does not change; He remains the same and will continue to restore, bless, and allow you to return with your head held high to where you were humiliated.
