This Special Week Begins on Palm Sunday (March 24th) and Lasts Until Easter Sunday (March 31st)
Holy Week is a time for reflection, when we consider all that Jesus went through on our behalf. This special week begins on Palm Sunday (March 24th) and lasts until Easter Sunday (March 31st).
Every day this week, The Universal Church will have a special service. Each day will be dedicated to a specific event that took and marked mankind.
“Then Jesus went into the temple of God and drove out all those who bought and sold in the temple and overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves. And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’” (Matthew 21:12-13)
“Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.” (Mark 11:13-14)
