Hawaii Records Period With More Snowfall Than New York

Climate Change Is Increasingly Common

Hawaii Records Period With More Snowfall Than New York

Hawaii had a period with more snowfall than New York. At the end of October, several centimeters of snow fell on the Mauna Kea volcano, the highest point in the Hawaiian archipelago.

Meanwhile, according to the National Weather Service (NWS), New York City has not yet experienced any snowflakes, which are common at the time.

Analyzing the Events in the Light of the Bible

An article from Newsweek Magazine highlighted that Central Park, the largest urban park in New York City, did not receive any snowfall last season until January 16th. Additionally, in 2022, the first rainfall was reported on January 7th.

Global warming and climate change have generated countless news that we have been following in recent months. There is a consensus that the climate will not return to normal, and irregular events will increasingly become part of our reality. Naturally, this makes us think about the Biblical warnings about the end times.

Once, the Lord Jesus advised, “Behold the fig tree and all the trees; as soon as they put forth leaves and you see it for yourselves, know that summer is now near. So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.” (Luke 21:29-31)

So what to do with this information? In the same chapter, the Lord Jesus concludes, “But keep on the alert at all times, praying earnestly that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36)
