Happy Is the Man

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he meditates day and night. (Psalm 1:1-2)

Happy is the man who finds pleasure in meditating on the Law of the Lord.—This is his daily bread, early in the morning.

The Word is the refreshment of his soul, and everything will go well for him—in his family, in business… He will never need the counsel of the wicked, nor will he sit with sinners to offend his Lord; for it is the Lord Himself who completes him with the peace that comes from the Holy Spirit.
