The Universal Church Supporting the Micronesian Communities in Colorado
In January 2024, The Universal Church expanded its outreach to Colorado’s warm, faith-filled Micronesian Community. This wasn’t the start of our journey with them, though. Back in 2023, we hosted faith gatherings in Aurora, Colorado, that drew such a large crowd that we realized the need for a church that could open its doors every day—offering the same commitment and range of services that The Universal Church is known for.
After those initial meetings in a hotel, we shifted to a community room at the local Fire Station, which we rented on Sunday mornings. One family after another began to invite more friends and relatives, and soon, our group grew. Our meetings centered on prayer for health and helping each person experience an Encounter with God. Even in that small room, which could only hold 38 people, the faith spread like wildfire, and lives were transformed by the Lord Jesus.
Many families reached out to us through our Facebook page (UniColorado) or were referred by their loved ones. During these visits, we encountered countless stories of people in distress who were feeling hopeless and desperately seeking a miracle. We offered prayers for deliverance and blessings over their entire families.
We’ve been promoting volleyball tournaments and engaging young people in important activities and teachings, like the HELP Event held in September. More and more young people are joining this growing family through the Youth Power Group (YPG).
In March 2024, we held our first service at the historic Eisenhower Chapel in Denver. Since then, we’ve been welcoming around 75 to 90 attendees every Sunday at 10 AM.
Our services are now held three times weekly: Wednesdays and Fridays at 7 PM and Sundays at 10 AM at 293 Roslyn Street, Denver, CO 80230. For more information, please contact Pr. Emerson by calling (720) 353-7571.
