Every Good Tree Bears Good Fruit

The Fruit of the Godly Person Is a Result of the Roots Where It Is Planted.

Every Good Tree Bears Good Fruit

“Even so, every good tree bears good fruit. But a corrupt tree bears evil fruit. A good tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a corrupt tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore, by their fruit, you will know them.” (Matthew 7:17-20)

Jesus was referring to the false prophets and fake workers of the Faith. These people had works, but they did not have fruits. According to God, All those who have good fruits have good works, but not all who have good works have good fruits.

People are comforted and feel safe because they have good works. They think they are OK by helping the poor, giving food, doing charity, and helping people with special needs. Yet this causes deception because people will believe that external works mean they are well on the inside. Yet, this is not always the case.

The Lord Jesus said that many who work in His name will have the most incredible surprise on judgment day. On that day, when they are before His throne, they hear from His mouth that He has never known them. These people will say they served Him in life, gaining souls, performing miracles, and expelling demons. Yet, these people only used the name of Jesus and the Word of God but did not live/obey It.

You cannot prevent a good tree from bearing good fruits. It is a consequence of its essence. It is natural. What counts before God is the interior of a person. What comes from within, such as forgiveness, love, and character, which you cannot buy with cash, check, or card.

The fruit of the godly person is a result of the roots where it is planted. That is, in the center of God’s Will. It is natural for those of God to have character, not live in lies or deception. Whoever is born of Him knows how to obey, follow the laws, and have authority without humiliating anyone. This person knows how to be faithful, loyal, fair, and honest.

So look at yourself and see if you have the fruits of God inside you. Be careful with the people around you. Watch out for those who do a lot of work, but they do so to gain some privilege. They do not do good to help but to have something in return. Their aim is only to satisfy their selfish interests. Beware of these people. It was the Lord Jesus who guided us to be cautious.
