The Holy Spirit Will Descend When God’s Word Is Tested and Obeyed
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:8)
In the biblical passage of James 4:8, the apostle James, directed by the Holy Spirit, says that those who draw near to God, He will draw near to them. If a person turns to Him, God will also turn to them. But if anyone despises God, He will also despise them.
The Lord God is all-powerful, great, and has authority. He is also the God of the impossible. To return to God, a person must seek Him with an open heart. The person will need to surrender themselves entirely and submit to His will.
The Holy Spirit will descend when God’s word is tested and obeyed, especially those who went to the Altar of God with an open heart, transparency, and truth. Jesus waits for sinners even if the person has lived a bad life. From the moment a person turns to God, it does not matter what the person has done previously.
In the same way, a person who is sick needs to go to the doctor. The sinners need to go to God. If you have lived a life of sin but are tired of this situation. We encourage you to seek God and allow Him in. It’s simple and straightforward: turn to God, and He will turn to you. God is simple and humble, even though he is the Almighty.
