But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.”
And Esau said, “Look, I am about to die; so what is this birthright to me?” (Genesis 25:31-32)
Thus do those who do not value the sacrifice of the Son of God, who died on the cross to save all the lost.
They have no idea of the honor of having, like Jesus, the birthright and, therefore, being part of the Family alongside the Father.
