Return to your rest, O my soul,
For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.
For You have delivered my soul from death,
My eyes from tears,
And my feet from falling. (Psalm 116:7-8)
Our true rest is in the arms of the Lord, who guards us and guides us along the paths of His precepts. His Spirit comforts us, wipes our tears, and frees us from the temptations and pains even of death. Remaining in His presence is the best choice.
