Come to the Wedding

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’ (Matthew 22:4)

The Lord Jesus compares His covenant to a wedding feast. He says that everything is already prepared for this great banquet, His Wedding.

He insists that all participate in His covenant with His Bride—the faithful Church, which has sanctified His Name on Earth.

Come quickly, for the night is approaching. The door may close and be too late… and those who remain outside will have no salvation.
