He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation. (Psalm 24:4-5)
Those who flee from sin and seek purity before God please the Lord deeply. Only those with clean hands and pure hearts will be able to enter His presence, giving up vanity out of love and obedience.
