In a remarkable nationwide initiative, the Caleb Group‘s 2024 event, ‘Awareness About Financial Frauds’, brought together participants from across the United States to raise awareness and combat the growing threat of fraud targeting the elderly. The event took place on August 25th, 2024, and spanned 20 states, including Georgia, California, New York, Florida, Illinois, South Carolina, Washington D.C., Massachusetts, Louisiana, Virginia, Texas, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Michigan, Nevada, Alabama, New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Hawaii.
Alabama
This year’s event was a resounding success, with 48 conferences held from coast to coast on August 25th, 2024. A total of 662 attendees, including seniors, their families, and concerned citizens, gathered to learn about the various tactics used by fraudsters and how to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Virginia
The conferences provided crucial information on identifying scams, understanding the latest fraud trends, and taking preventative measures to safeguard personal information and finances.
Fort Lauderdale, FL
The event was supported by 150 dedicated Caleb volunteers who played an integral role in the execution of the conferences.
Maryland
These volunteers, who share a passion for serving their communities, offered their time and expertise to ensure that the event ran smoothly and that attendees received the help and guidance they needed. Their efforts were instrumental in creating a welcoming and informative atmosphere at each conference.
South Ozone Park, Queens
