Brining the Community Together With Basketball

The youth Power Group hosted a basketball tournament that united youths from all across the city. With Almost 200 youths in attendance. What made this so special is that many young people gathered together to represent their neighborhood. What can a youth look forward to see when they come to the Youth Power Group hangout? You’ll find that youths are comfortable enough to be themselves inside of the YPG. In the YPG youths are being presented an opportunity to be themselves and to become a better version of themselves.

Many youths go through problems because their parent(s) may not be able to pay the bills,  a faith figure may not present, a sibling may have turned to addiction, or wrong influences try to fight their way into their lives. On this day they had the opportunity to let loose and enjoy themselves that is the goal , to bring youths together in a positive environment that leads them to faith.
