Baptism With the Holy Spirit

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Matthew 3:11)

 
John the Baptist came to prepare the way for Jesus, speaking about repentance, for the Kingdom of God would come to those who confessed their sins; thus, they would have eyes to see and accept the Savior, and be filled with His Spirit, to overcome and be separated from evil and the lost and unjust world.
