Don’t expect to feel like you heart will always want to forgive because your heart doesn’t have this desire. Forgiveness is a choice, a decision. It’s an attitude that’s based 100% on reason. If we aren’t willing to forgive those who offend us, we can’t be forgiven—or saved—by God. We’re all sinners before Him. And the Lord Jesus made it clear that only those who forgive would be forgiven.
