All That I Desire

All That I Desire

Join us on Sunday, May 4th for a special meeting titled Sunday of All That I Desire, focused on faith and spiritual renewal. This event will provide you with a unique opportunity to experience something extraordinary in the presence of God. Don’t miss out!

What Do You Desire the Most?

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (John 15:7)

The Lord Jesus granted us the right, once we are in Him and His words are in us, to ask for anything we desire. However, have you considered asking Him for the Holy Spirit above all else? Bishop Bira Joshua addressed this question during the Wednesday Bible study service in Brooklyn, NY:

“Our greatest desire must be the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of God dwelling inside us. Let’s say that you conquer the entire world—Everything is left behind when a person dies. But what about the soul? The Lord Jesus said, ‘What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, yet lose his soul?’ (Mark 8:36) I never heard of someone dying and taking their possessions, accomplishments, family, or loved ones. Everything is left behind. That is why our greatest desire must be the Holy Spirit. Sunday, May 4th will be a day for you to have the all of God—‘All That I Desire.’ Although other things might be necessary and even promised in the Word of God, all I desire must be the Holy Spirit, first and above all. Once you receive the Holy Spirit inside of you, all the other things will be added unto you according to God’s will. You need to prioritize the Holy Spirit,”  said the bishop.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)

This Is God’s Promise

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! (Luke 11:13)

Prepare yourself to receive the Holy Spirit during this 50-day journey towards Pentecost, which we began on the last Sunday of Easter. Each Sunday, we will focus on receiving the Holy Spirit, and on this Sunday, May 4th, you can prepare to ask for the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
