Month of Honor: Learn How to Put Your Faith into Practice

Beginning November 1, This Spiritual Purpose Encourages Participants to Honor God Through Obedience and Faithfulness to His Word

Month of Honor: Learn How to Put Your Faith into Practice

On Sunday, November 1, The Universal Church began the Month of Honor, a spiritual purpose that invites participants to demonstrate their faith through acts of obedience and faithfulness to God.

Why It Matters: Honoring God Through Our Actions

According to biblical teachings, honoring God goes beyond words or prayers. This faith must be demonstrated through the choices we make and the way we live our daily lives.

In addition to marking the beginning of the Month of Honor, Sunday, November 1, also marked the conclusion of the Week of Deliverance & Spiritual Warfare.

In this way, the purpose reinforces that honoring God requires daily faithfulness and decisions that align with His Word—not only during church services but also outside the Church.

The Greater Truth: Your Life Reveals Your Priorities

The way a person lives reveals their priorities. Therefore, the Month of Honor invites everyone to reflect on the difference between knowing God’s Word and putting His teachings into practice.

Throughout November, participants are encouraged to examine their spiritual lives, renew their commitment to God, and seek the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Putting Faith Into Practice: Three Important Steps

• Examine your conduct: Evaluate whether your daily actions truly glorify God or whether they serve only your own desires.

• Make a decision: Present your life on the Altar with sincere surrender and sacrificial faith.

• Seek God’s Spirit: Seek the presence of the Holy Spirit and remain committed to this spiritual purpose throughout November.

The Bigger Picture: A Faith That Is Lived Every Day

More than simply taking part in a special program, the Month of Honor is an invitation to develop a faith that is demonstrated daily. After all, putting God first requires conscious decisions, perseverance, and a willingness to obey His Word.

What to Do Now: Take Part in the Month of Honor

The Month of Honor is underway, and you can still take part. Attend a service at The Universal Church nearest you. Prepare your heart, because God honors those who honor Him.
