Groaning Over Sin

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

We all growl like bears,
And moan sadly like doves;
We look for justice, but there is none;
For salvation, but it is far from us.
For our transgressions are multiplied before You,
And our sins testify against us;
For our transgressions are with us,
And as for our iniquities, we know them: (Isaiah 59:11-12)

All of humanity groans and cries out for justice, yet fails to realize that its sins multiply each day because it lives without any fear before God.

People want justice and cry out for peace. Yet they are unwilling to pay the price of denying their corrupt hearts worldly pleasures and the practice of injustice against themselves and others. Thus, they remain far from ever being saved.
