Crooked Paths

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

The way of peace they have not known, and there is no justice in their ways; they have made themselves crooked paths; whoever takes that way shall not know peace. Therefore justice is far from us, nor does righteousness overtake us; we look for light, but there is darkness! For brightness, but we walk in blackness! (Isaiah 59:8-9)

 
Those who call themselves Christians but follow the voice of their hearts run down crooked paths; therefore, they neither understand nor experience justice and do not live in perfect peace.

And all suffer the consequences of the injustices they themselves practice. They yearn for the light for what it brings, but distance themselves from it, preferring to walk in darkness.

They need to enter the Path of Peace: THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
