This Understanding Can Help Preserve Your Faith and Spiritual Life
The Bible presents two contrasting examples to illustrate these different stances before God:
The “man of God” embodies obedience, fear, and vigilance toward God.
The “old prophet” reflects complacency, spiritual laxity, and a faith that lacks the same zeal.
A lack of zeal can weaken faith. As a result, a person may lose spiritual discernment and gradually drift away from the principles that are foundational to their relationship with God.
The busyness of daily life and the conveniences offered by the internet may lead some people to substitute in-person participation with online engagement. However, attending services online cannot replace the invaluable experience of being in the House of God.
Participation in a meeting cannot be fulfilled through a message, phone call, or broadcast. The psalmist emphasized this importance when he stated, “Our feet have been standing within your gates, O Jerusalem!”
Just as distance can weaken a relationship, straying from the House of God can contribute to a decline in spiritual life. It is crucial to remain attentive to our own choices and relationship with God.
On Tuesday, we will commence the 122-day purpose based on Psalm 122. During this period, the goal is to dedicate the final months of the year to strengthening our relationship with God. Participants are encouraged to attend the Father’s House on Wednesdays and Sundays for moments of prayer and seeking the Almighty.
