Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ (Acts 11:16)

The Lord Jesus said that John the Baptist baptized the people for the repentance of their sins, and He promised and has fulfilled to His own the promise to baptize with the Holy Spirit. Those who have believed receive His Spirit, having life and peace; and then they are more than conquerors, witnesses of His love and His salvation.
