Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, (Luke 4:1)
Soon after being baptized, Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the desert, and so it is with all Christians: they are led into the desert to be tested in difficulties, in faith and in trust in God, and then go on to overcome in everything for His glory.
