Deathly Affliction

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

My face is flushed from weeping,
And on my eyelids is the shadow of death;
Although no violence is in my hands,
And my prayer is pure. (Job 16:16-17)

Job could only see the problem he faced: pain, tears, and even the feeling of death. However, God wanted him to trust Him in such a way that he would wait for Him with the certainty that He would bring healing and deliverance from that evil in his life and in the lives of his family. And that is exactly what God did; He revealed Himself to Job as a great and powerful God.
