Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in. (Joshua 6:1)
God promised His people that He would take them to the Promised Land. However, an overwhelming obstacle stood between God’s people and that faithful promise: the Walls of Jericho.
It was not through human means that the walls fell, but through faith and obedience to Almighty God. What was humanly impossible became possible through Him.
Today, many face overwhelming and humanly impossible obstacles in life, including:
• Injustices in the family, in the workplace, in education, and in society.
• Spiritual attacks that have been in the family for generations.
• Emotional traumas that paralyze them from moving forward in life.
• Illnesses that come with a death sentence.
• A sudden accident that halted all their dreams.
• Mental and emotional bondage.
• Dysfunctional family dynamics and cycles of hurt.
• Continuous debts and financial crises.
• Addictions passed down from parents to children.
• Addictions that have dragged them to the bottom of the pit, losing everything.
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. (Joel 2:26)
This divine promise becomes yours through the Lord Jesus when you decide to come to Him. God wants to remove your shame and transform your situation into a miracle and testimony. However, just as the Israelites did in the times of Jericho, you must place yourself in the right place at the right time.
