Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (2 Timothy 2:22)

Young people are curious and run the risk of following dangerous paths if they are unknowledgeable of God’s will. The apostle Paul warned young Timothy, who accompanied him on his pilgrimages, not to be carried away by the world’s trends, which are deceptive and fleeting.

He told him to follow all that is righteous and true, to use faith in all he thought and did, giving himself in love to others. Thus, he would also find love for himself and find peace, just as happens to all who, with a pure heart, serve God day and night.
