Meditate on These Things

Read and Meditate on Today’s Message

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. (Philippians 4:8)

The vigilance of a Christian is constant, day and night. To walk in the Spirit is to subdue the flesh to think about the things from Above. It is to live in the practice of truth, honesty, justice, and purity.

Whatever things are lovely must occupy the mind of the righteous, with thoughts which identify them as a child of God, steadfast in faith, and with their eyes set on the Celestial City.
