You will inevitably encounter people who wish to cause you harm. This can happen in your family, at work, or in your business. However, you can learn to handle these individuals without resorting to fighting, arguing, or responding to their negativity with more negativity.
Transforming Negativity With Faith
You can only overcome evil and malicious people through faith. Allowing your feelings to guide your reactions can lead to hurt and frustration as you try to understand why someone, even someone you’ve helped, wants to bring you down.
As Bishop Jadson Santos stated during the Prosperity With God meeting at the Temple of Solomon, “They want to harm you because they are filled with negativity. If you let your emotions take control, you will become discouraged, allowing these individuals to crush your dreams. You will sink. Don’t let their negative words affect you. Instead, use your faith. Remember, your God is greater. You shouldn’t fear their attacks, evil plots, or gossip. God has the power to turn all evil into good and enable you even to bless those who have wronged you.”
You will face various pressures and difficulties on your path to success. Therefore, it is crucial to remain strong and heed the guidance of the Almighty.
For example, Isaac (the son of Abraham) encountered challenges during a famine (Genesis 26:1-30). He considered fleeing to Egypt, following the crowd. However, God instructed him to stay, assuring him of blessings in that very land.
“Be cautious of certain thoughts and proposals that may arise during tough times. Always consult the Lord first; otherwise, you might make decisions that seem right but lead to bad outcomes. Talk to Him, listen to Him, and follow His Voice. While this won’t eliminate struggles, and problems will continue to arise, with Him as your main partner, you will overcome them all,” the bishop cautioned.
