Against the Evil Doers

Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:11-12)

Turning away from evil, doing good, and seeking peace are attitudes that deeply please God. He hears and answers the prayers of the righteous. But He turns His back on those who practice evil, and on the last day, He will say that He never knew them and will cast them into hell for all eternity.
