Bronx Night Angels: Spreading Hope and Warmth to Those in Need

On January 31st, 2025, at 9 PM, fifteen volunteers of the Night Angels in the Bronx, New York, reached out to the community by distributing hot soup and faith-based books to passersby on the corner of Third Avenue and E 149th Street.

Bronx Night Angels: Spreading Hope and Warmth to Those in NeedThe Bronx Night Angels and Pastor Leandro were able to reach nearly 100 people, giving many a word of faith, listening ears, an understanding heart, and prayers of faith. Many of those who were touched by this outreach were currently homeless.

“I Was Hungry”

For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; (Matthew 25:35)

“We do not judge; we help. Giving back to the community is our pleasure,”  shared Pastor Leandro, who oversees the evangelistic work of The Universal Church in the South Bronx.
