November 28th at 10 AM at The Universal Church
On Thursday, November 28th at 10 AM, The Universal Church will hold a special Thanksgiving Service with the Blessing of the Bread. It will be a morning service to thank and seek God and place our lives and families under His care.
“At this time of year, families usually come together to celebrate. But let me tell you, this year hasn’t been all rainbows and cupcakes for many. The ups and downs of life have touched us all in different ways. Some have faced illness and financial struggles, and others have lost loved ones, which made them depressed. Maybe you’re reading this and feeling like tomorrow will be just another day without anyone or any reason to celebrate.
But listen up, my friend! I’m here to remind you that a special Someone is watching over you, and He’s never left your side. When you were sad and crying alone, God was there with you. When you got the news about being sick, He was right there. The Almighty was there when things were tough and you didn’t know how to provide for your family. And when you couldn’t sleep or worried about solving family problems, God was there too.
He’s always been waiting to hear from you, hoping for a word or a sincere prayer. Even when life throws many problems your way, God always cares about you. Take a moment to look back at your journey in life. How do you think you’ve made it this far? It’s because God has supported you all along by your side.
So, as we reflect on this year and all that we’ve experienced, let us not forget to offer gratitude to God and remember Him not just in times of difficulty but also in times of joy and abundance. Let us recognize and acknowledge all the ways God has blessed us. May you be encouraged and filled with the Holy Spirit, knowing you are never alone on this journey.”—Bishop Bira Joshua
Praise the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. (Psalm 106:1)
