This Is Part of the Secrets and Mysteries of Faith Because There Is No Emotion in Faith
Have you ever taken a foul-tasting medicine and wanted to vomit? You took it because it was necessary, right? Regardless of whether the person likes it, the bitter medicine must be taken. Otherwise, they will continue to suffer with the pain. It doesn’t matter if you feel like consuming it because you must take it.
The same happens with those who are terrified of a shot. Some people feel sick just by thinking about the needle being injected. Yet, despite not liking it and feeling scared, you need to receive the application to solve the problem and pain.
It is the same concept regarding the things of God. They do not depend on whether you feel like it but on obeying God and deciding to do His Will.
Anyone who has tried bitter medicine and felt better can agree. If you really want to solve your problem, use this medicine, which is bitter but solves any and all situations and brings you a new life.
The Holy Spirit comes upon a person’s life and dwells in them only if their heart is open to Him. But, this is an individual decision that no one can do for anyone.
In the book of Revelation, the Lord Jesus says,
“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)
This is part of the secrets and mysteries of faith because there is no emotion in faith. Faith is driven by intelligence not feelings or sensations. Each person has the right to choose whether or not to open the door of their heart to the Lord Jesus.
It’s a decision and not a feeling. Some say, “I feel like I should go to church today.” However, emotion does not solve it. What is good is for the person to decide, regardless of whether they feel it or not.
