The Mind of Christ Opposes the Mind of the Devil

Many people say they have Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They even sing praises, but their lives are a pit of perdition. It is necessary to understand that it is no use speaking in tongues, doing a beautiful job in the Work, expelling demons, preaching the Gospel, if you do not have the mind of Christ.

The Bible says: “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.” (Mark 7.20-23).

A mind that has these characteristics does not have the mind of Christ. Those who have His mind have peace within them, promote what is fair and look upon people with good eyes. But whoever has the devil’s mind sees the bad and defective side of human beings. We see this difference when the Pharisees judged the adulterous woman. They wanted to see if Jesus would also judge her, but He said,

Those who have His mind have peace within them, promote what is fair and look upon people with good eyes.

“Whoever has never sinned, let him cast the first stone.” Jesus saw her with good eyes, did not judge her, and showed that no one had the right to do this.

God gave His Son to save those who believe in Him and then give them a new mind. God does not see the thug as the thug, the prostitute as the prostitute. He sees everyone as souls. Anyone who wants to have the mind of Christ must think about it.
