As the Yellow September<\/strong> campaign focuses on valuing life and preventing suicide, being vigilant about the signs in those around us becomes increasingly vital. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO)<\/a><\/span>, approximately 332 million people worldwide live with depression. Furthermore, suicide is the third leading cause<\/a> <\/span>of death among young people aged 15 to 29.

\n <\/p>\nRecognizing the Signs<\/strong><\/h4>\nEmotional distress doesn\u2019t always come with a direct request for help. Therefore, it\u2019s crucial to pay attention to specific changes, including:<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Neglecting physical appearance
\n\u2022 Frequent expressions of hopelessness, worthlessness, or a lack of perspective<\/p>\n

The Help Project<\/a><\/span> from the Youth Power Group (YPG)<\/a><\/span> develops actions to promote the value of life throughout the year. Through talks, visits, and activities in schools and public spaces, along with the Safe Space to Talk<\/em>, volunteers connect with those facing emotional struggles.<\/p>\nMany volunteers have experienced difficult times themselves and found the strength to overcome their challenges. They share their stories to show others that a moment of pain doesn\u2019t have to define the rest of their lives.
