However, understand this: both peace and love are only possible when there is a personal experience with God.

An Agreement Between You and God

God wants to reside within you, but for that to happen, there must be an agreement between you and God. Unfortunately, not everyone is willing to pay the price of surrender.

The Price of Surrender

The salvation of your soul is the hardest conquest on Earth because it requires renunciation, sincerity, and total surrender to God. Yet, God knows our hearts; He knows who we truly are and seeks those who are sincere, truthful, and transparent. This was the case with the Samaritan woman. When she asked the Lord Jesus for water, He revealed that He could offer her Living Water that would quench her soul’s thirst forever.

Peace Begins With God

Many people search for love and peace, but to achieve peace within themselves and with others, they first need to have peace with God. One of the greatest obstacles to this is a lack of forgiveness. When you pray for someone who has wronged you and genuinely desire their salvation, you are practicing a form of love that pleases God. This is precisely what Jesus teaches: true love is not based on emotion, but on obedience.

Choose True Peace

Therefore, don’t associate love and peace only with feelings. If you want to have true peace, speak to God right now. Say:

“My God, I don’t see You, I don’t feel You, I do not touch You, but I believe in Your Word. I don’t have a way out. Help me.”

Come Before God With Sincerity

When you come before Him with sincerity and transparency, you will notice a real difference within yourself.

Word of Faith From Bishop Macedo

View or listen to this daily Word of Faith from Bishop Macedo—a daily meditation on God’s Word to strengthen your spiritual life:

• On the official blog—Click here

• On the official Telegram channel @bishopmacedoofficial

• On the official Instagram channel @bishopmacedoofficial

• On the Universal Online Radio—universalradio.goodbarber.app

• On the Univer Video streaming platform—univervideo.com

The world seeks peace in things, in vanities, and in lusts, but peace is like love: it is perceptible.
