Resistance of Evil to Answers

When the Answer Seems Delayed

The first type of spiritual battle is the resistance of evil, which seeks to prevent answers from arriving. To illustrate this, Daniel is referenced, who prayed for 21 days (Daniel 10).

Daniel was praying for 21 days. He prayed without seeing any visible change. Nevertheless, he continued to pray. The absence of visible change does not mean that nothing is happening. Prayer connects you to the Almighty. If you present a request in prayer, things are happening in the spiritual world.

Thus, the advice is to persevere even when answers seem distant. Prayer should be an integral part of your routine.

2. Spiritual Attack

Standing Firm Under Pressure

The second situation discussed was spiritual attack, exemplified by the story of Job. Unlike mere resistance to a response, this battle involves intense pressure that can affect multiple areas of life simultaneously. Job faced significant losses, suffering, and questioning from those close to him. Despite these challenges, he maintained his integrity before God (Job 2:9-10).

If you are facing a spiritual attack and continually complain, murmur, or blaspheme, you will not overcome it. Guard your mouth, your thoughts, and protect yourself from harsh words you may hear.

This means it is essential not to let pressure turn you into someone who complains, doubts, or rebels against God. Controlling your words is crucial for preserving faith during difficult times. The story of Job serves as a reference for this attitude. Even after going through a period of suffering, his life was restored.

3. Evil Trying to Prevent Growth

Persevering When Your Progress Is Hindered

The third type of spiritual battle relates to attempts to hinder a person’s progress and growth. The example of the Apostle Paul explains this point. He stated in 1 Thessalonians 2:18 that he wished to visit the Christians but recounted that Satan had hindered his path.

Paul was not possessed by demons, but evil tried to block his path. Paul wanted to strengthen the church and promote the growth of the Kingdom of God. Whenever you strive for growth, you will face evil trying to stop you.

Therefore, the advice is not to interpret the first sign of difficulty as a reason to give up. Persistence is vital when facing obstacles. If you are a person of faith, the devil may try to hinder you once, twice, or even more. The tougher it gets, the more you must persevere and overcome.

Understanding True Prosperity

Many people spend their lives striving for financial achievements alone. Even when they achieve material conquests, they lose, over time, the aspects that matter most.

True prosperity is directly linked to a life lived in connection with God. It encompasses overall satisfaction, translating into peace and fulfillment in family and professional life, as well as health and financial stability. Therefore, we encourage you to attend this special Monday meeting.

Prosperity With God

This Monday at 10 AM, 4 PM, or at 7 PM (main service) at The Universal Church. Everyone is welcome, regardless of religious beliefs or background. Come as you are.
