\nI was depressed. At the time, I did not know it was depression. I wanted to commit suicide. I tried taking a handful of pills.<\/p>\n
But then came a time when I had no job, no money, and nobody I could call on. And so I was in the kitchen, and my son was looking up at me, crying because he was hungry. And I was crying because I didn’t have anything to give to him. Then I remembered seeing in the newspaper: \u201cMassage workers needed.\u201d<\/p>\n
And it seemed like an easy job; you didn’t need any education. When I got there, I realized how the girls were dressed. They were in bikinis, lingerie. Nobody was dressed like they were masseuses. So that’s when the lady told me that they did whatever the client asked.<\/p>\n
And I thought, \u201cWhat do I do? Do I go back home to a hungry child, or do I do this?\u201d At the time, I thought that was my only option, and so I did it. I saw a demon in the face of the first client, and I just started crying.<\/p>\n
God began placing people in my way to tell me to leave. Eventually, I left that place and did not go back.<\/p>\n
One of the problems I was having was sleep paralysis, and all these spiritual attacks started happening to me. I remember one night, I was in my bed, and I was praying the Lord’s Prayer, and I felt a hand choking me.<\/p>\n
There was nobody there, but I was trying to pull the hand off my neck because I couldn’t breathe, and it was choking me, so I couldn’t finish the prayer.<\/p>\n
Another time, I was in my bed, and I felt my bed sink, as when somebody sits beside you on the bed. So I got up to make sure I was not sleeping, and then I heard heavy breathing in my ear.<\/p>\n
Someone who was just visiting The Universal Church invited me to come along. And that was all I needed. I went that one time, and I never left.<\/p>\n
I received strong prayers, and I felt delivered. And I walked out of church that day so happy!<\/p>\n
I was at work when I received the Holy Spirit. I was praying and seeking the Holy Spirit. That conviction came upon me. I felt all the sins were gone.<\/p>\n
So I am filled with the Holy Spirit, completely delivered, and never going back to that old life. My life is completely changed!<\/p>\n
I’m married. I am no longer living that rebellious life. I’m no longer aggressive. God has been very good to me, and I just experienced a love like never before with God.<\/p>\n
I’m happy. I’m at peace.<\/p>\n
