This Wednesday<\/a><\/span>, March 11th, The Universal Church<\/a><\/span> will continue its special Bible study on repentance<\/strong>, personally prepared by Bishop Macedo<\/a><\/span>. This study goes beyond theoretical teaching; its goal is to help each person understand why their life may feel spiritually stagnant, despite attending church for years. It will address questions such as: Why do discouragement, weaknesses, and spiritual slumber persist?<\/strong><\/big><\/div>\n

The Call to Repentance<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Before the promise of salvation<\/strong> comes the call to repentance<\/strong>. Both John the Baptist<\/strong> and the Lord Jesus<\/strong> began their ministry with the same message: repentance.<\/strong>
\n <\/p>\n

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!<\/strong> (Matthew 3:2)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 
\nThis command is neither symbolic nor optional; it is a fundamental requirement for salvation<\/strong>. Without genuine repentance, there can be no new birth<\/strong>, and without a new birth, no one can see the Kingdom of God<\/strong>.

Why Many Do Not Advance Spiritually<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Therefore, the Wednesday study<\/strong> will highlight what prevents many from advancing spiritually<\/strong>. While some have been baptized in water<\/strong>, they may not have experienced true transformation.<\/p>\n

Others may seek baptism with the Holy Spirit but fail to understand that, without true repentance<\/strong>, there is no opportunity for this experience.
