This Wednesday<\/a><\/span>, February 25th, The Universal Church<\/a><\/span> will commence a special Bible study<\/a><\/span> on repentance, personally prepared by Bishop Macedo<\/a><\/span>. This evening, we will also partake in the Lord\u2019s Supper<\/strong>, with the purpose of deep reflection<\/strong> and spiritual decision-making.<\/big><\/div>\n

Why Repentance Matters<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The intent of this study goes beyond theoretical teaching. It seeks to help participants understand why their spiritual lives may be stagnant<\/strong>. For many, even years of church attendance have not led to spiritual growth. Issues such as discouragement, weakness, spiritual slumber, and stagnation<\/strong> persist.<\/p>\n

Before the promise of renewal comes the call to repentance<\/strong>. Both John the Baptist and the Lord Jesus began their ministries proclaiming the same essential message: repentance.
\n <\/p>\n

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! (Matthew 3:2)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 
\nThis command is neither symbolic nor optional. Rather, it is a fundamental requirement for salvation<\/strong>. Genuine repentance is necessary for new birth, and without new birth, one cannot see the Kingdom of God<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This Wednesday\u2019s Bible study<\/strong> will reveal what prevents many from advancing spiritually. Some may have been baptized in water<\/strong>, yet did not experience true transformation. Others seek baptism with the Holy Spirit without realizing that, without sincere repentance<\/strong>, there is no space for such an experience.<\/p>\n

A Free Study for Those Seeking to Enter the Kingdom<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Bishop Macedo<\/a><\/span> will conduct this study every Wednesday evening at every location of The Universal Church<\/a><\/span>. He emphasizes that the study is entirely free and open to anyone<\/strong> interested in attending.<\/p>\n

The goal is to provide a step-by-step guide on what needs to be done to see and enter the Kingdom of God.<\/p>\n

Lord\u2019s Supper With Consciousness and Discernment<\/strong><\/h4>\n

On Wednesday (25th) at 7 PM<\/strong>, we will hold the Lord\u2019s Supper<\/strong> with a specific aim: to encourage each participant to discern the Body of Christ<\/a><\/span> before partaking in the ceremony. The Lord\u2019s Supper is an opportunity for self-reflection<\/strong>: a time to evaluate one\u2019s own faith, acknowledge shortcomings, and make a sincere commitment to change<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, true repentance<\/strong> is not a fleeting emotion; it involves a change of mind, behavior, and direction<\/strong>.
