The apostle Paul teaches the church to grow into spiritual maturity. He is not speaking about earning salvation, but about living it out<\/strong>\u2014allowing what God has done within us to be expressed through obedience and fear.<\/big><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Paul emphasizes that obedience should not depend on his physical presence. True spiritual maturity is seen when believers remain faithful even when no one is watching.<\/strong>
\n <\/p>\n

Therefore, my beloved,\u00a0as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence,\u00a0work out your own salvation with\u00a0fear and trembling; (Philippians 2:12)<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 
\nTo work out your salvation means it must be developed daily<\/strong>, exercised through obedience to what we have learned and received.<\/p>\n

The fear of God does not mean terror, but holy reverence<\/strong>\u2014a continual awareness that we live in God’s presence.<\/p>\n
