This powerful gathering of faith will occur at the <strong>Night Vigil of the Power of Prayer<\/strong> on <strong>December 31st at 10 PM<\/strong>.<\/big><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The Power of United Prayer<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Throughout the Bible, we encounter accounts of <strong>God\u2019s people uniting in prayer<\/strong> when facing hardships, challenges, and trials. This act of faith has brought about <strong>impossible miracles<\/strong>. One example is that of the <strong>Apostle Peter<\/strong>, who was taken into prison, and the church united to pray for him:<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"background-color: #f2f8fc; padding: 2em; border-left: 5px solid #ccc; margin: 1em 0;\"><p><strong>Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He tapped Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, \u2018Get up quickly.\u2019 And the chains fell off his wrists.<\/strong> (Acts 12:7)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Entering the New Year in God\u2019s Presence<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In preparing for the year ahead, <strong>The Universal Church<\/strong> worldwide will <strong>unite in prayer for God\u2019s salvation, protection, and guidance.<\/strong> We will present <strong>our lives, families, and plans to the Almighty<\/strong> and place our <strong>faith and trust in Him<\/strong>, deciding to enter <strong>the new year in His presence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of past decisions or mistakes, this is an opportunity to <strong>start anew<\/strong> and use the <strong>power of prayer for a new life in Christ.<\/strong> Perhaps until now, you have entered the new year in various places and with multiple people; however, with each year and new challenge, you have found yourself:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Not knowing which direction to take<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Making the same mistakes from before<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Lacking peace<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Falling into new addictions<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Repeating the cycle of failed relationships<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Facing a new complication to the illness<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Experiencing a new financial hardship<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u2022 Seeing your family further apart<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>A Step of Faith That Brings Healing<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>All are invited to prepare themselves, their families, and their requests, and join us as we gather in <strong>united prayer of faith<\/strong>.
