The BFA, Born for the Altar<\/strong>, was a powerful three-day event held in New York<\/strong> that united young people from across the country, including a special group from the Micronesian community<\/strong>, with a shared purpose: to discover and follow God\u2019s will for their lives.<\/strong><\/big><\/div>\n

 
\nOn the first day, the youth participated in a night vigil<\/strong>, giving them the opportunity to seek the Holy Spirit<\/strong>. Bishop Joshua spoke about the importance of listening to God\u2019s call<\/strong> and \u201cleaving the nets behind,\u201d<\/strong> emphasizing that God calls His servants to save souls<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Testimonies, God’s Word, and Spiritual Awareness<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"BornThroughout the event, heartfelt testimonies<\/strong> were shared. The youth learned about the spiritual dangers of today\u2019s world<\/strong>, such as the \u201cInferno Net,\u201d<\/strong> which reveals how evil uses the internet and worldly glamour to destroy young minds<\/strong>. The conference also focused on understanding one\u2019s calling<\/strong> and the importance of obeying God\u2019s Word <\/strong>and being guided by the Holy Spirit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

By the end of the event, many young people had made the life-changing decision to dedicate their lives to serving God.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cLeaving the Net\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"BornMy experience at BFA 2025 was truly amazing.<\/strong> I learned so much. For example, I realized that if I ever went back to my life before finding Jesus, I would return to the same emptiness that could never be filled with the things of this world. I could have \u201cgood things\u201d and be \u201csuccessful,\u201d but without God in my life, I would never be truly happy or successful.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When we talked about the internet<\/strong>, I understood how the devil genuinely uses it to spread evil things<\/strong>, things we should not see or hear. Through all the prayers and songs<\/strong>, I felt a deeper connection with God. It was also beautiful to see so many young people in the faith<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

I definitely encourage more youth to attend the next BFA<\/strong>. I feel much more connected to the Lord now<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
