During 2020<\/strong>, the world faced a traumatizing experience that saddened the hearts of billions of people<\/strong> and caused countless problems and painful losses<\/strong>. It was during this time that many desired to gather<\/strong> with other believers and attend prayer services, but were unable<\/strong> to because of the restrictions<\/strong> in place.<\/big><\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Many also felt hopeless and desperate<\/strong>, and needed to come to the Altar of the church<\/strong> and have people of God<\/strong> who love them listen to them and provide companionship and comfort<\/strong>. Many were isolated<\/strong> and felt very lonely<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A New Initiative<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Seeing this situation unfold, The Universal Church<\/a><\/span> in the USA started the Virtual Church<\/strong> with four weekly services<\/strong> and pastors who pray for, counsel, and visit<\/strong> those requesting a home visit.<\/p>\n

The Virtual Church<\/a><\/span> began at the start of 2021<\/strong> and has not stopped ever since. Today, via Zoom video conference, it unites over 270 people<\/strong> from all corners of the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Who the Virtual Church Serves<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Virtual Church congregants<\/strong> are people who desire to build a closer relationship with God<\/strong> and fellowship with other believers<\/strong>. However, many have limited transportation<\/strong> to the nearest location of The Universal Church or health reasons<\/strong> that prevent them from commuting to the church and attending services in person<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Registration<\/strong> for the Virtual Church is free of charge<\/strong>, and registered congregants receive:<\/p>\n

\u2022 the Lord’s Supper
\n<\/strong>\u2022 correspondence from Bishop Bira Joshua
\n<\/strong>\u2022 ongoing phone calls<\/strong> from assigned pastors<\/p>\n

Main Virtual Service<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"TUCThe main Virtual Church<\/a><\/span> service is on Saturdays at 8 AM CT \/ 9 AM ET<\/strong> from Brooklyn, NY, with Bishop Bira Joshua<\/a><\/span>. In this service, congregants have the option of opening their cameras<\/strong> and interacting<\/strong> with the bishop and fellow congregants during the service.<\/p>\n

Alongside Bishop Edson, Pastor Diego, and a team of servants of God filled with the Holy Spirit<\/strong>, Bishop Bira Joshua conducts several prayers<\/strong> for:<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 family
\n\u2022 finances
\n\u2022 spiritual deliverance
\n\u2022 healing of the soul<\/strong><\/p>\n

Testimonies of Faith<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Every Saturday<\/strong>, testimonies<\/strong> are shared from among the Virtual Church congregants who experience miracles<\/strong> and life changes<\/strong> by using their faith in the Word of God<\/strong>.
