Maryland and Homelessness<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Silver Spring<\/a><\/span>, Maryland, is celebrated for its vibrant culture, artistic murals, and welcoming community spaces. It is known for its diversity and affordability and was named the #1 Best Place to Live for Families by <\/span>Fortune Magazine<\/em><\/a><\/span> in 2024. However, Maryland continues to grapple with homelessness. According to a <\/span>2024 report<\/a><\/span> by the Maryland Office of Justice Programs, more than <\/span>30,000 people<\/a><\/span> experience homelessness each year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Soul Winners Outreach to the Community<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

On August 28th, 2024, at 10 AM, a team of 12 <\/span>Soul Winners<\/a><\/span> volunteers gathered to provide support to the community. They distributed over 80 cups of hot soup and provided much-needed clothing, particularly warm ones, in preparation for the upcoming winter season. Over 80 individuals were helped during the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pastor Eduardo shared, “At this event, we distributed hot soup and warm clothes to prepare for the winter. We also shared a Word of Faith, encouraging people to return to the Fold, and we offered prayers for all those present.”<\/em><\/p>\n
