On September 8th, 2024, Bishop Renato Cardoso<\/a><\/span> held a significant meeting at the Soweto Cathedral in Johannesburg, where thousands gathered during his missionary visit.<\/p>\n

Highlights of the Event<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"The meeting began with powerful prayers for healing, spiritual deliverance, and family restoration. In addition, the bishop emphasized that true deliverance doesn\u2019t come solely through strong prayers. He pointed to the words of Jesus:<\/p>\n

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
\n(John 8:32)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
\n(John 8:44)<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cIt is not the church, the pastor, or a strong prayer that frees someone, but the Truth, which is Jesus,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 the bishop explained. \u201cOn one side, you have the truth, Jesus, who brings freedom. On the other, you have the lie, the devil, who enslaves people through deception. Who are you following?\u201d\u00a0 <\/em>He asked the congregation.<\/p>\n

The Importance of Living in Truth<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Bishop Renato pointed out that many people mistakenly believe they serve God simply by following a religion, but their actions reveal whether they truly seek Him. \u201cHow can you claim to follow the truth while lying and doing what the devil, the father of lies, does? You may attend church, be part of a group, or be an assistant and say that you are serving God in a church, but outside of the church you live in sin. Who are you really serving?\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 He asked.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

He urged the attendees to fully embrace the truth, regardless how difficult it may be. \u201cStop living in sin. Be of God. Read the Bible, and the Holy Spirit will reveal the truth to you. When the Word of God enters your mind, you will be set free\u2014from addictions, illnesses, the devil, from yourself, from misery, and everything that enslaves you,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 the bishop declared.<\/p>\n

The meeting served as a powerful call for attendees to reflect on their faith and align their lives with the truth of God’s Word.<\/p>\n
