\u201cBut What Do You Mean?\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

There are many doubts when discussing a wife’s submission within a marriage. Many understand it as an act of humiliation, others as a disrespectful attitude on the part of the husband, but the truth is that the Word of God teaches the wife to be submissive to her husband by being by his side to help him.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

And the LORD God said, \u2018It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.\u2019 (Genesis 2.18)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

A Crucial Role<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Bishop Carotti and wife Danielle explained that when God created the <\/span>woman<\/span>, He <\/span>made it clear<\/span> what <\/span>her<\/span> role would be in her husband’s life.<\/span> See below:<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cGod created the woman with the aim of her being a helper. So, the purpose that He created the woman was to assist, to help, someone who will add. In other words, within the relationship, the woman needs to be helpful to her husband. <\/em>Now, if the woman does not add <\/em>in his life, then she is not fulfilling the role that God determined for her,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 said the bishop.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe were created to complete. We have characteristics and virtues that men do not have. The role of a helper does not diminish anyone, it does not diminish women in any way, it is honorable,\u201d\u00a0 <\/em>added Danielle.<\/p>\n

The Role of the Couple<\/strong><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Bishop Marcio emphasized that in relationships, a man does not become a good leader, provider, and protector overnight, just as a woman does not become the most suitable and comparable helper overnight.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes, the husband will go through difficulties, and the wife, in the position of helper, is the one who will lift him and help him. But women often don’t exercise their role; they don’t help and don’t add. Because of this, there are many relationships with problems. <\/em>For a marriage to work, both partners need to fulfill their role in the relationship, and this is only possible when the Word of God is fulfilled in the marriage and when the couple starts to practice it,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 concluded the bishop.<\/span><\/p>\n
