My wife was sick. We had a religion, and you know, we went to our own religion for help, and they couldn\u2018t help. We went to Witchcraft and Obeah places. We went to different religions to see her become better, offering rum to these gods, and it didn\u2019t help. It was getting worse and worse. So, we stopped.<\/p>\n

\"ForHer illness happened just after we got married, like one week after I got married. So, for 22 years, it was only sickness and problems. We had arguments and misunderstandings at home, not with my wife but with my in-laws. They blamed me for her being sick.<\/p>\n

\"ForFor 22 years, she was sick with asthma and different problems like bleeding. Even the doctors gave up on her. We tried many doctors. In the end, they wanted to put her in a mental institution. She was tormented by terrible nightmares. After I couldn\u2019t see anything help for 22 years, we gave up on everything. And she was there getting thinner and thinner. I had to leave my job to be with her.<\/p>\n

One day, my wife and I were walking to this restaurant, and The Universal Church was<\/span> on the way. I used to pass in front of it before, but I never knew it was a church. My wife fell right in front of the church and received assistance from the pastor and his wife.<\/p>\n

They took her in and prayed for her. And she manifested with evil spirits. It was the first time I ever saw this. This is when I started to go to The Universal Church<\/a><\/span> in 2005. Since then, I never stopped. I went every day to church for the Chain of Prayer<\/a> <\/span>services because I wanted to see my wife get better.<\/p>\n

Day by day, I saw her getting better. In the Chain of Prayer<\/a><\/span> services, I would listen to the messages from the Word of God, the preaching, and the pastor also spoke about Tithe and Offerings. We wanted to make a sincere Offering that would represent our lives and marriage on God\u2019s Altar. But remember, financially, I had nothing. So I took my wedding ring, and my wife took her wedding ring, and we sold it. And we placed it on the Altar.<\/p>\n

After making this offering of surrender, I began to see the change in my wife. Day by day, I begin to see the difference. She stopped having nightmares. The bleeding stopped. And that\u2019s a miracle for me.<\/p>\n

\"ForI was addicted to marijuana. I was addicted to alcohol and cigarettes. God delivered me from all the addictions. Every word I spoke used to be indecent language, cursing, and I realized that stopped by itself. I don\u2019t use those words anymore. And I said, \u201cThis is a big difference. It\u2019s a big change.\u201d<\/p>\n

I can\u2018t complain about my spiritual life because I find myself growing in Christ every day, each and every day. The more you meditate on the Word of God, the more you pray, you begin to get stronger and stronger.<\/p>\n

I received the Holy Spirit when I gave my life 100% to the Lord Jesus. And anybody who does it can receive the Holy Spirit the same way. I am not the person that I used to be. Before receiving the Holy Spirit, I used to be aggressive. Before, I tried to commit suicide two times because of the situation. But today, these things don\u2019t come into my mind anymore. When I face a problem, I don\u2019t allow it to get into my head. And this is the work of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n

\"ForGod transformed my life. God transformed every area of my life, including my marriage and financial life. I don\u2019t want to kill myself anymore. This life is too sweet with Christ. The Holy Spirit is too sweet. Once you give your life to God 100%, He can do exceedingly and above everything. Don\u2019t be afraid. Just give your life 100% to God, and you will see the change. If He could even change me, He can change you.<\/p>\n

God has the power to do everything. He is the miracle-working God!<\/p>\n
