Since I was a teenager, I used to sleep with my sister. And in the middle of the night, she said that all the time, I was sleepwalking. I just remember that I would have nightmares, insomnia, and sometimes fear. I saw shadows, faces, and sometimes people who weren’t there.<\/p>\n
I would witness the fights between my parents. I didn’t see any meaning in my life. That would make me feel sad. With that example within my home, I would think to myself, “I will never get married.”<\/p>\n
When I went to school, I couldn’t learn very well. So I decided to go out with friends, and also I started smoking cigarettes because I felt very empty. I started to wear black clothes and black makeup. But when I was alone, the sadness came again.<\/p>\n
I didn’t believe in God because I saw all the problems, and I thought, “If there’s a God, how can we live like this?” I was 16 years old when introduced to The Universal Church. Somebody invited me, but I didn’t believe it the first time. And then after I watched the TV program, I decided to come.<\/p>\n
When I came to The Universal Church<\/a><\/span>, I received strong prayers for spiritual deliverance<\/span>.<\/a> After the prayer, I felt very happy; I felt free. There was something different. And I continued coming.<\/p>\n After receiving the Holy Spirit, I saw everything differently. I had the certainty He was with me all the time and was going to help me.<\/p>\n Now, I have a love for my family and respect for my parents, and I’m totally different. I have love, peace, and joy.
