A young lady I have been helping in the church came to talk to me. I\u2019d not seen her for a while, so I asked her what was going on. She said: \u201cNanda, I\u2019m not in the mood to come to the church.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">Now I\u2019m going to ask you something. When do we actually want to do something that brings benefits to us? Anything that brings us benefits requires effort and sacrifice.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">Generally, when you study, it is not because you enjoy it! Have you ever heard somebody saying: \u201cOh, I really want to study\u201d? You want to sleep a lot, watch TV all day, go to the beach every day, you want to do nothing sometimes, you don\u2019t want to help with the housework. You wish, wish, and wish! We must watch out that these \u201cwishes\u201d don\u2019t dictate our lives!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">Every day, I have to go against what I feel like doing. That is what blesses me: when I win against what I struggle with. You also need to overcome what you feel like doing, which is something nobody can do for you! The less you go to church, for example, the less you will want to go. So what?! Throw away these feelings and go!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">There are days that I don\u2019t want to do anything, but I do everything I don\u2019t want to. We have to live by faith and not by what we feel. This will make a big difference in your life, in all areas, but especially in your spiritual life.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><b>Task 18<br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #003366;\">Analyze your attitudes in your life and see if you have been living according to your wishes and feelings. Go against that and do the very things you don\u2019t want to do because, normally, those things will bless you. Are you not in the mood to wake up late at night to pray? Are you not in the mood to read the Bible? Are you not in the mood to pray? Are you not in the mood to fast? Are you not in the mood to go to the church?
