After Jesus’ baptism in water and the Holy Spirit, he was invited to a wedding in Cana Galilee. There, He did the first miracle. He turned water into wine (John 2:1-10).<\/span><\/p>\n

None of Jesus’ miracles was by chance or in vain, but this one differs from the others because of how it happened. The wine ended in the middle of the party, which would be a shame for the hosts. Jesus ordered water to be brought out after seeing\u00a0the moment’s need. He turned the water into the best wine.<\/span><\/p>\n

“When the master of the feast tasted the water that had been turned into wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who drew the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom, and he said to him, “Every man serves the good wine first, and after men have drunk freely, then the poor wine is served. But you have kept the good wine until now.” (John 2:9-10)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Marriage<\/span><\/h4>\n

Among other things, this miracle shows how a marriage in the presence of the Lord Jesus should be. It doesn’t get worse, but it gets better over time. The more the years go by, the more the couple adjusts and becomes intimate and similar. They become one flesh, as God projected.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the world, marriages usually deteriorate, and people get sick of each other. They say marriage is old-fashioned or it’s impossible to live with someone until death.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the Bible, usually, wine symbolizes joy. But just as it ends during the party, joy ends over the couple’s years, and they get colder and indifferent, and, ultimately, they are like two strangers. The wine has run out for a long time, and the joy is gone because they never invited the Lord Jesus to their wedding.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you invite the Lord Jesus to your wedding, bring His teachings, and practice them, He will continually improve the wine. Every year that passes by, your marriage will get better.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Word of God is fulfilled in the lives of those who practice it. When we learn to subject ourselves to His way, we become that 3-fold cord that is unbreakable. (Ecclesiastes 4:12)<\/span><\/p>\n

Invite the Lord Jesus to your marriage. Do a test, and He will be able to turn the water of your wedding, without flavor, into the best wine. But you must understand what He wants you to do as a husband and wife at home.<\/span><\/p>\n
